Real Hip Hop descended upon Sonar in Baltimore on Wednesday night as 9th Wonder and Friends came thru and did their “1-2 thing” to perfection. Dj Flash and 9th shared duties behind the boards and The Away Team, Rapsody, Median, Phonte and crew peppered the crowd with hits both new and old. Percy Miracles even made an appearance throwing the tizy, as they both laffed AND cheered and ‘Te showed why he’s one of the better stage performers in hip hop. Yo the homie Rapsody can SPIT. Gentleman Jacks Art, Beats and Lyrics in DC (misc. Artwork)- Me and my cronies are still talking about this one.. Gentleman Jack held an awesome event at the Mellon Auditorium on Constitution ave, celebrating and displaying the best in street/hip hop inspired art that you ever wanna see. Dope artwork and amazing sounds filled a magical friday night in downtown DC. Snarky Puppy and Melo-X were the musicians of the night and both killed it(Not to mention some ill ass DJ sets. Ray Charles’ Nighttime is the Righttime’ was played…all the 30 year olds were in Cosby Show Bliss).

Street Scenes PT4- This aint exactly on the street. but its in street scenes cuz of the characters.. Milan in Lil’ Italy was the place, Task Force Marketings’ “NEXXUS” event was the thang.. I gotta hand it to em. they really did a great job of providing an even that allowed Bmores’ movers and shakers in entertainment and other things creative to get together, rap, politik and boogie. Street(well really boardwalk) Scenes- Had the honor of covering the Dew Tour for Gypsy Soul this past weekend in OC. Man, i havent been to that place in sooo long. While it was hot as hell, it was indeed a pretty good time. The Bmore blog media was there as was what seemed like a million red bull and Bud-toking kids there to see Kid Cudi and The Cool Kids. Enjoy.
